Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to St. Joseph's Catholic Primary School. I'm Mrs Alexandra Hinton, Headteacher, Designated Safeguarding Lead and Mental Health and Well Being Champion.  The safety and well being of staff and pupils is of paramount importance to me. 

As a practicing Catholic I am also proud to lead Religious Education in school, supporting staff with teaching and providing pastoral care where necessary.  I have worked with the pupils and staff at St Joseph's for nearly 14 years and have enjoyed celebrating their successes with them and being a part of their learning journey.

As Headteacher, I work alongside staff to create an enriching and exciting curriculum which is accessible and inclusive for all pupils.  We recognise that learning is not just about academic achievements, but also about the experiences that we get to enjoy and participate in.  Here at St Joseph's we try to provide pupils with a wide and varied range of activities, so that they can reach their full potential on their own learning journey.
